Dayadik aims to empower Indonesian elementary school teachers in creating a psychologically safe learning environment through social and emotional learning (SEL) programs. We train the teachers intensively in creating SEL programs and tools (e.g., games, cards, worksheets, etc.) based on the problems they encounter at their schools. Our training program consists of three sessions, intended as a step-by-step tutorial on designing accurate classroom interventions based on SEL. Every training session is followed by a one-week assignment and a mentorship session related to each training topic. Participants then will receive grants to implement their design and present the result at the Dayadik Conference.
